Had a great time this
Had a great time this evening. It wasn't much of a cook-out because of the rain, so instead I watched my friends devour all-you-can-eat rib tips from Applebee's. I think our waitress was in awe of their eating power. We then retired to their Broadripple home for a little Trivial Pursuit. It wasn't what I would call the most effective game when you have a drunk guy reading questions, and people going in and out to smoke, but fun nonetheless. Everytime someone would land on a blue square, in unison they would scream, "That's my boy, Blue!" And of course, laugh so hard every time like it was the first. (If you don't get the reference, go rent Old School). God love them.
I'm loving that I don't have school tomorrow. I normally would have 5 hours of class, so it's quite a break for me. I'm hoping I feel well enough to go workout. I feel like my rear end has been strapped to my desk chair all weekend!
I'm not sure what happened to my comments (they're missing at the moment). Maybe a glich in the system. If they're not up in the morning, I'm going to switch to another service.
Goodnight all. I'm going to watch a movie in bed and wait for my sweetie to call--ahhh, vacation!

THIS is wrong on SO many levels! Come visit us in the midwest--we'll treat you to REAL meat! MOO!

Ahhh, there's nothing more relaxing than sitting at your desk, wearing those comfy-cozy clothes, doing a little homework, listening to the classical music channel on your digital cable, and sipping a Diet Vanilla Coke. Ok--there are a lot more relaxing things to do, but if you have to be studying, it's not too bad.
I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekends. The weather here isn't cooperating too well, but there are ALWAYS great movies on TV on Labor Day weekend. I'm recovering from strep throat this weekend. But, my guy buddies from undergrad are having a cookout this afternoon, and I just can't miss out. Yes Mom, I know I should stay home and rest, but I have ALL day tomorrow to recover and finish my homework. Can I Mom, can I?? And for those of you out there who don't know my buddies, they are SO entertaining that they are worth venturing out in the rain when you're somewhat sick (although a million times better than you were 3 days ago).
Well, I suppose I should post my inaugural question for commentary. What does everyone think about the main TV networks not doing a whole lot of coverage on the upcoming September 11 anniversary? When I first heard it, I thought it was a good idea. Let those who lost loved ones not have to hear the re-hash for the zillionth time.
However, the more I thought about it, the more I changed my mind. If we have to sit through hearing about Brit French kissing Madonna, much debate over the "all-important" question of whether Hillary is going to run for el presidente, and each time Scott Peterson takes a bowel movement, then why the hell shouldn't we pay tribute and devote network time to the anniversary of the worst act of terrorism on our fine soil? And furthermore, why shouldn't these networks highlight how far we've come in the war on terror in two years? Ok, so we've been having some problems with those elusive weapons of mass destruction....But we HAVE caught many significant Al Qaeda assholes.
Ok. Rant away.
Excuse the typos--not sure if I have spellcheck on this thing yet.

Welcome friends, loved ones, and
Welcome friends, loved ones, and newcomers. THIS, is my space. I'm not quite positive what I'm going to do with this new acquisition, but rest assured, it WILL be entertaining.
This blog promises a bit of law, dash of politics, and smidge of pop culture. I think that's a recipie for diverse fun!
Some info about me: Rabid IU b-ball fan, current 3L law student, addicted to Wow Doritos, always watching Sex and the City on Sunday nights, (and now Queer Eye for the Straight Guy on Tuesdays), have a liking for Kandinsky art, Broadway buff (and former musical theater performer), Republican (although would call myself more socially liberal than the average elephant), got a great boyfriend (UGA law student), web shopping addict, think skinny, short Hollywood actors are NOT attractive (give me Clooney anytime), martini drinker (hence the name), grew up in a small town (think Hoosiers only bigger), sometimes snort if I laugh too hard, hate pop-up ads, hate people that drive without car insurance, hate hypocrites, and my vices...well, I have a few, but my worst has to be my foul mouth. I'll try to keep it clean on here. Wait, what am I saying? If I can't be ME on MY own blog, where can I?
So, it's me. Maximum strength. Welcome. I'm hoping to set up comments ASAP.
NOTE: I am trying to get my favorite links and blogs updated. If you aren't on there, PLEASE don't be offended--yet.
