A St. Louis TV station

A St. Louis TV station has obtained permission from NBC to rebroadcast the final segment of "Average Joe: Hawaii," interrupted Monday night for a news report from the Iowa caucuses.

Viewers clogged the KSDK switchboard and fired off questions to the station's Web site on Tuesday to protest the interruption, which came at a pivotal point in the episode.

The station broke into "Average Joe" to go live to a speech by Missouri Rep. Richard Gephardt, who had finished fourth in the Iowa caucuses, all but ending his political career.

Dick: if your state likes AVERAGE Joe more than they like you, what does that make you?
