Ralph Rises Again

Karate Kid star Ralph Macchio set to play himself in upcoming Fox comedy, The Ralph Show, according to Daily Variety. The show will explore the "humorous and vaguely humiliating aspect of celebrity," according to executive producer Todd Holland.

--I still think his best role was in The Outsiders.

You Said

Stay gold, Ponyboy. Stay gold.

Nature's first green is gold / her hardest hue to hold / her early leaves a flower / but only so an hour / then leaf sudsides to leaf / so Eden sank to grief / so dawn goes down to day / nothing gold can stay.

I am not usually one to remember so many quotes but I loved this book and movie since junior high. In junior high I use to carry around that Robert Frost poem in my wallet. Heck I used it as an entry in my blog months ago.
OK, now I am starting to sound very geekish.

Oh Lynne--we're so alike. I had to memorize the poem in my English class in 7th grade, and I STILL remember it.

"Mustangs. They're tough."

I agree he was good in The Outsiders, but I loved My Cousin Vinny so much I have to give him an honorable mention (even if his role was pretty non-descript) just for being in it.
