Ocean's 12

I saw Ocean's 12 this weekend. Seems like everyone in America did as well.

I think the script was much better written than the first one. The delivery of the actors' comedic lines was superb--there was much more humor this time around. thought Matt Damon was at the top of his game. His portrayal of nervous Linus was right on. However, I must say that I just don't think it was as good as the first one. The story was a little disjointed. Anyone else agree/disagree?

You Said

I thought it was great as well, but also thought it was as though they took five different movies and literally stapled them together. :)

As the saying goes, the sequel will never be better than the original. While there are certainly some rare exceptions to this rule, I thought this one was apples/oranges. It took an entirely different spin from the first one, and I loved it. I will agree however, that there were about 2 too many storylines going on . . . but thought they pieced them together nicely.

Haven't seen it yet, but can't wait!

My thoughts -
I like the character of Rusty, but he is the weakest link in Twelve. The Pitt/Zeta-Jones chemistry is not all that. Clooney had much better chemistry with Zeta-Jones in Intolerable Cruelty.
There is a lack of Clooney and Pitt together, they were SO good in Eleven, here they hardly shared the screen. Matt Damon's character interacting with Clooney and Pitt brought the most laughs...more at

I found the first one boring and overrated. Can't say as I'll ever see the sequel.

I liked this one, but it didn't top the first one - which I loved. This one was really well-made, but something was missing (besides Vegas).
