Chic Seat

The fashion crowd is flushed with excitement over the new Kohler Purist Hatbox toilet.

Kohler's Fashion Week advertisement boasts: This electric commode is so sleek and lovely; you’ll be tempted to put it in the living room. Drink lots of water so you can give one of these babies a test ride at the tents in one of the Kohler-provided restrooms.

--My question is, where the hell is the tank?

You Said

It's about time someone designed a crapper that doesn't look like one. I can't figure out the "tank" thing either but I think I have to have one of these.

I went to their web site to figure it out. It only uses 1.6 gallons per flush with a vacumn assist (typical high efficiency standard for modern toilet FYI). If you notice how elongated the base is the tank is the back third of so of the toilet. It also has an optional water connection that comes through the floor directly into the toilet to remove unsightly pipes.

The real test is will I see one of these on This Old House?

Put it in the living room? I'm not really into watching folks "drop the kids at the pool" but in if the babe in the photo mounts it in her living room...I'm already there

Just wanted I wanted to picture after seeing this girl - her relieving herself. Thanks.

Shouldn't she have the dress hiked up? Good grief...what will they think of next?
