Backstreet's Boozin'

Former Backstreet Boy Nick Carter was arrested on suspicion of DUI over the weekend.

According to police, the singer was pulled over around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday for a routine traffic stop in Huntington Beach, CA. Officers, who suspected the star was under the influence, then booked the 25-year-old, who was released after nearly four hours. A spokesperson for the star was quoted as saying that Carter sincerely regrets the incident and claims he was unaware that the doctor-prescribed medicine he is taking has the potential to cause a negative interaction.

His excuse? Nick Carter insists doctor-prescribed drugs are to blame for his run-in with the law on Saturday night. In a statement released yesterday, his agent said, "Nick Carter deeply regrets the current situation. He is on doctor-prescribed medication and was unaware of its interaction possibilities."

--And just a day after I posted on the annoucement of their return to music and touring.

You Said

That's about as believable as when my THC positive testing patients say they must've been in the room with friends smoking pot.
