Hoosiers in Hollywood

Hollywood, Here Come Some Hoosiers:

Warner Brothers has optioned a novel written by Lou Harry and Eric Pfeffinger, though the book won't be out until November.

Harry, editor of Indy Men's Magazine, says Jennifer and Suzanne Todd will produce a film based on the romantic comedy novel "The High Impact Infidelity Diet," published by Crown.

The plot involves three, shall we say, tubby friends who get tricked into losing weight by their wives. The reward for shedding the pounds is the promise of time with a woman of mystery.

Variety, the show-biz newspaper, reported the deal March 3, noting the Todd sisters recently finished the film "Must Love Dogs" starring John Cusack and Diane Lane.
