Frigid Fashion Show


New York fashionistas think they've got it bad when they have to go to venues uptown, downtown and all around town. They should be happy designer Alexander McQueen keeps showing in Paris.

Actually, he chooses venues well outside the city, and this year's locale was a doozy. Not only was the venue, a school, an hour outside the French capital — it had no heat. At least McQueen made provisions for the chill, giving guests woolen blankets in tan plaid as they arrived.
