Star Power

Actress Sandra Bullock was all smiles as she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, the same day her comedy "Miss Congeniality 2" opened nationwide.

Bullock, who shot to stardom in 1994 when she appeared in the action-packed "Speed," was honored for a career that includes films such as "Miss Congeniality," "The Net," "Hope Floats" and "While You Were Sleeping."

Her star was placed next to that of friend and "Speed" co-star Keanu Reeves.

--Eh, I'm not all that impressed with her acting ability. I think this honor has been given to her too early.

You Said

From what I've gathered about getting a star, it doesn't take *that* much effort.

But furhtermore, you stop picking on my future ex-wife! :-p

I'm surprised she didn't get her star sooner. She reminds me of Diane Keaton in that she just plays herself in everything but she does seem to be very popular with everyone.

I think we should be more concerned about the fact that Keanu Reeves has a star at all---now that is someone who definitely CANNOT act!!!

EJ is right on there. Fitting that these two are right next to each other.

Gonna have to agree wholeheartedly on the Keanu Reeves thing. I've been saying for years that he's the worst American actor alive.

Love Keanu!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you.
She sucks.
