More Charles and Camilla News

Here's some more Charles and Camilla news:

--Britain's ITV television channel said Monday it was currently casting actors for a two-hour dramatization of the first meeting and early relationship between Britain's heir to the throne and Camilla Parker Bowles, then known by her maiden name Camilla Shand.

But the film will end at Charles's 1981 marriage to then Lady Diana Spencer, without going into lurid but little-known details about how he and Camilla, sometime in the late 1980s and while still married to others, rekindled their romance.

The film is to be entitled "Whatever Love Means" -- quoting Charles's response to the press when he was asked earlier this year whether he loved Camilla.

--A royal wedding dilemma: What to give newlyweds who don't want for much? Comedian Joan Rivers, one of about 800 guests at Prince Charles and Camilla's wedding reception on Saturday, joked that she wanted to bring a trendy grill with a French fry attachment. Then she thought about giving the blushing bride — now the Duchess of Cornwall — a lingerie shower.

"She thought that was hilarious, and she said 'Well, send the things,'" Rivers told The Associated Press on Sunday. "She's a very earthy, funny woman. You can swear in front of her."

In the end, Rivers abided by a request for guests to forgo gifts, but said she plans to put the lingerie in the mail for the new Duchess of Cornwall.

--Here's the scoop on Camilla's wedding outfits:

THE CIVIL CEREMONY

Hat: Designed by Philip Treacy, decorated with French lace and trimmed with feathers

Hair: Styled by Hugh Green of Hugh & Stephens in Sloane Square. Green appeared to give the bride a quick touch up with the hair dryer between the marriage ceremony and the blessing. Her highlights were done by Jo Hansford.

Make-up: Julie Biddlecombe, make-up artist, said she deliberately kept it light. "I went for the no makeup look, illuminating her skin and cheekbones," she said.

Brooch: The fleur-de-lys piece set with black pearl and diamond was originally bought for Camilla's great-grandmother Alice Keppel, the mistress of Prince Charles' great grandfather King Edward VII. The Prince of Wales paid £15,000 to buy it for his new bride.

Bag: An embossed calf leather clutch by East-West with a suede lining bearing the royal warrant.

Manicure: Angela Kourmourou turned up at Clarence House to perfect Camilla's hands for the occasion. Essie's Sugar Daddy and Marshmallow were the colours used for the tips.

Dress: An oyster silk coat and chiffon dress by Robinson Valentine. The coat featured herringbone stitch detail embroidered with silk thread and the dress had a hem of Swiss-made laquered discs.

Shoes: Pale beige suede shoes with a 1.5in heel. Designed by Linda Bennett of LK Bennett.

THE BLESSING

Head-dress: Designed by Philip Treacy, the piece was made up of feathers that had been individually coated in gold-leaf and tipped with Swarovski diamonds. Treacy also designed hats for Sophie Wessex, Laura Parker Bowles and Tara Palmer Tomkinson.

Flowers: A cluster of Lily of the Valley and other small blooms in grey, cream and gold, all bound with the same silk as her dress. The posy also contained a sprig of Cornish myrtle, which represents happy marriage, that was sent by a well-wisher.

Dress: Robinson Valentine created a porcelain blue silk dress and a coat of the same colour that had been hand-embroidered with five different gold threads. Inspired by a piece of jewellery belonging to the bride's mother, the embroidery gave a couture element to the outfit." Robinson Valentine believed the dress required a sense of occasion for St George's Chapel and so the aim was a flowing, elegant line, concentrating on proportion, fit and silhouette."

Shoes: Pale grey shot silk pumps by Linda Bennett. The pointed shoes were decorated with a gold design on the toe and had a 1.5 inch heel.
