Definitely get an iPod mini. I love mine. I see no reason not to get the mini compared to the standard model unless it's a matter of the extra $75-100 being a problem.

I only have 7 of the top 20 of all-time. Hmm . . . not a lot of great music out there in the last 30 years, I guess. And I think "Smells Like Teen Spirit" only appears in the top 10 for its impact on the music revolution, moreso than the actual song itself - though it is a great song.

I refuse to pick their choices apart, partly because I would not want my own determinations to be made fun of (see Piano Man), and also because my own top 500 would be at least 700 songs (indecisive).
