WHY?

Someone explain this to me:

Ryan Seacrest is about to become a star ... on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, that is.

The renowned host of "American Idol" and Los Angeles radio personality is scheduled to receive the honor next Wednesday, April 20. Aside from the TV show and the on-air tiffs with "Idol" judge Simon Cowell that have made him a household name, listeners around the country also know Seacrest's voice from the nationally syndicated "American Top 40" radio show.

--WHY? He's totally worthless.

You Said

Oh this is just pathetic! He's HUGE, locally in LA, beyond "Idol," but still . . . no f-ing way.

I feel bad for all those who have actually 'earned' their stars having their accomplishments devalued by this. He would earn a lot of cred in my book if he turned this down until he has done something deserving of such a (used-to-be, anyhow) honor.
