Reese's Run-In

'Legally Blonde' star Reese Witherspoon recently had a scuffle with paparazzi that ended with a call to police, who are now investigating possible charges of false imprisonment.

A spokesperson for the L.A.P.D. told ET that Witherspoon was allegedly obstructed by members of the paparazzi while trying to get into her vehicle outside a Los Angeles gym last week. She was then apparently blocked from pulling away, according to the spokesperson, and, when she did finally manage to leave, was followed to her home by at least 5 vehicles and prevented from getting through the gate until security assisted her.

You Said

That is horrible. Seriously. I would think that there have to be some limits.

From Black's:

False Imprsonment: knowingly restraining another unlawfully so as to interfere substantially with his liberty.

Sounds like they have a case.

If the reports are true I think she should definitely press charges. That had to be scary.

I guess I'm a bit more aggressive than Reese. Let's see..I'm in a car and there are people standing in my way. Hmmm, bet I could move them.
