GWB's Niece Stalked

Lauren Bush, the covergirl niece of President Bush, was allegedly stalked by a Boston man who sent her threatening e-mails and flew to Princeton, N.J., before he was arrested last Friday by the Secret Service as he was closing in on her.

Police sources say Lucas M. Schloming, who graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1999 with a B.S. in economics, was apprehended on the Princeton campus after asking people where he could find Lauren, who is a junior at the university.

"Someone was smart enough to wonder what he was up to and alerted Princeton security, who called the police," said a friend of Bush's. It allegedly started with e-mails. "He was obsessed," said the friend. "He said he loved her and wanted to be with her. But the e-mails were getting more and more strange, and one was threatening."

Bush showed the threatening e-mail to the Secret Service, which dispatched agents to pay a visit to Schloming in Boston, where he lives with his parents.

Well...there ya go. Any grown man who lives with his parents--ya gotta wonder.
