Gwyneth Doesn't Want Apple to Be a Freak

Not that naming your baby Apple has anything to do with it, but Gwyneth Paltrow seems to be overly concerned about her baby becoming a "freak." Contactmusic.com reports that Paltrow is working to make sure she does not become overbearing with her child's eating habits.

"Right now Apple is young and I control what she eats. It's all very healthy," Paltrow said. "But she's her own person and I will respect who she is. If she doesn't want to be vegetarian or she wants to eat hydrogenated oils and fairy cakes at birthday parties, that's fine."

The health-conscious mom adds, "I'm not going to be a controlling over-protective hippy. We live in the world we do. I don't want her to be a freak."

You Said

I don't really get the correlation between what a child eats and being, "a freak." I guess I need Gwyneth to 'splain it to me.

If you didn't want you kid to be a freak then you shouldn't have named her APPLE. If the kid ends up chunky then people will call her "The Big Apple". And that's all mom's fault.

Well, the possiblity of being teased because of her name could send the poor kid into a spiraling depression and drowning her sorrows in "fairy cakes."
