Friends--the Movie?

Could it be that we haven't seen the last of Central Perk and those six New Yorkers who call themselves Friends? There's chat that they may reunite for one last project .

According to the Sunday Express, the six stars of the hit TV series are in negotiations to get together again to make a movie. It seems that our penchant for watching repeats of the show has prompted movie bosses to believe there is still plenty of mileage in the characters - even though the series ended in 2004 after a ten year run.

The paper quotes an insider as saying: "Although the cast have gone their different ways, none of them has quite repeated the success they had with Friends. "And while Friends may be over as a television entity there are many who have believed for some time that people had not quite had enough of them just yet. "David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston are the first to make positive noises regarding the film and it is thought once they are on board the others will follow suit."
