Black Eyed Peas star Fergie is considering a career as an actress following the release of the group's latest album Monkey Business.

The singer - real name Stacy Ferguson - made her acting debut in 1984 as the voice of Sally Brown in TV show It's Flashbeagle, Charlie Brown.

But the 30-year-old star still has reservations about picking a suitable movie for her comeback. She says, "Yes I'm definitely reading scripts, but I'd need enough time to do it and it would have to be the right project." "There are a few things I'm looking at so watch this space."

Damn right I'm in my 20's (26, actually). I'm just saying I was shocked when I was first told she was in her 40's! Seeing her onstage, shakin' it and lookin' FINE as hell, I just assumed she was in her late 20's or early 30's at most. Damn, I wasn't bashing her, just saying it's easier to believe when you see her up close ... I saw a pic of her w/o make-up on and it quickly made me realize the truth. I never said I'd kick her out of bed, Miss Swanky.
