Dido-Aguilera Collaboration

Dido is penning a special song for Christina Aguilera. The mild-mannered singer, who wrote hit, 'I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman' for Christina's rival Britney Spears, has been asked to write a track suitable for the 'Dirrty' singer - who is trying to tone down her raunchy image.

The as-yet-unnamed single, which will be included on Aguilera's third album due out later this year, has been described as "retro" and "gritty". Christina, 24, said of the record by 33-year-old Dido: "It's a retro blues-soul-jazz-record."

You Said

Maybe I am alone here, but I would far prefer to hear Dido sing her own songs than Aguilera---Dido has one of those unmistakable voices that cuts right to the core of the soul----Aguilera sounds like any other slutty diva.

Couldn't agree more, Ren. I've always liked Dido. "Don't Think of Me" is my favorite song of hers.

Ahh, my friends, I must respectfully disagree here. I like Dido, sure, but I think Aguilera has one of the best voices out there. She's dirty, and acts slutty to promote her image, no doubt, but I think her voice is top notch - not studio created like Britney or Ashley (let's face it, they both couldn't sing live to save their lives).
