Liam Opens His Big Mouth Again

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher thinks Bono and his U2 bandmates are a bunch of wimps.

Gallagher was incredulous when he heard U2 members analyzed a video of themselves after a live show. “Wankers,” Gallagher spat to the Sydney Telegraph. “Haven’t they got [bleep]-all better to do? I’d rather be out there getting p——d. I certainly wouldn’t go back after a gig and analyze it. No wonder they’re the biggest band in the world: ‘Oh, Edge, the fourth guitar solo wasn’t right tonight.’ ‘Oh, sorry, Bono.’ If that’s what people think rock’n’roll is . . .”

You Said

He is always complaining. I mean really, what has he done lately?

Okay morning glory, here's the real friggin story. You and your equally loopy brother made ONE good album and 3 or 4 (I have definitely stopped counting) pieces of sh*t. U2, on the other had, probably has 8 GOOD albums, and, in Joshua Tree, a bona fide competitor for the greatest album of all time. Where in the hell do you get off criticizing these guys? You want them to be more improvisational? Like the way you improvise by getting wasted before the show and telling 10,000 fans that they are bunch of rednecks and bloody wankers? (which you have done) Champagne Supernova was a great, catchy, anthem-type song, and you made a lot of money off of it, but don't start going around thinking that you could even hold Bono's jock.

Caveat: I used to really like these guys 6-7 years ago, but they have really spoiled their talents. Nothing pisses me off more than someone I used to respect trying to disparage somebody who still deserves my admiration.

These posts are why I love you, Reynold... :)
