Matt as Lance

Matt Damon is heading the pack in the race to play cycling champion Lance Armstrong - even the Tour De France hero wants the actor to play him.

The Bourne Supremacy star is a lifelong cycling fan and has become a friend of Armstrong's in recent years.

The cyclist, who won his seventh Tour De France victory, says, "I've had the chance to get to know Matt Damon. He is a fan of cycling. He has expressed an interest in the role."

You Said

Is he going to have to go anti-Rene Zellweger and shed a ridiculous amount of weight for this role?

God forbid Matt drops down to Armstrong size.

He's dropped weight before, i.e., "The Talented Mr. Ripley".
