A Beautiful Friendship

Saks Fifth Avenue announced on Monday that it would become the exclusive New York retailer to offer the Neil Lane jewelry collection. Located in the fine jewelry department on the first floor of Saks’ flagship, the Neil Lane boutique will launch this October with a star-studded gala.

Known as the “Star Jeweler,” Lane’s creations are highly sought after in Hollywood for social occasions and red carpet events alike. A New York native, Lane moved to Paris after college to pursue a career in jewelry design, where he began the collection that informs his designs to this day. Upon returning to the states in 1982, he moved to Los Angeles and opened his now-renowned jewelry emporium on Beverly Boulevard.

Ronald Frasch, vice chairman and chief merchant for Saks said in a statement, “Everyone at Saks Fifth Avenue is thrilled to be hosting Neil’s first boutique in New York City, and we welcome him back to his New York roots. The partnership between Saks Fifth Avenue and Neil Lane will bring high fashion and Hollywood glamour to Manhattan.”
