Young Hollywood

Ashton Kutcher and Lindsay Lohan top the list of power-wielding players in Young Hollywood, according to Teen People's edition that hits newsstands Friday. The top 10 list was compiled by reader votes.

The 27-year-old Kutcher has starred in the films "Guess Who" and "The Butterfly Effect," and produced MTV's "Punk'd" and WB's "Beauty and the Geek." Lohan follows Kutcher, on the strength of reports the 19-year-old actress is now pulling down over $7 million per movie.

Readers picked Orlando Bloom for third place. Bloom, 28, has starred in the "Lord of the Rings" films, "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" and "Kingdom of Heaven." Hilary Duff charts fourth on the magazine's Young Hollywood ladder. Duff, 17, spans music, movies, TV and fashion - including an accessories line called Stuff by Hilary Duff. She's followed by Reese Witherspoon, whose production company is aptly named Type A.

The list is rounded out by Natalie Portman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson and Nick Cannon.

You Said

I think the terms "powerful" and "popularity" are mistaken here. Please tell me why Hohan is so "powerful"?? At the rate she spends money, she'll be broke and without a career in about 5 years. Let's face it, she's not exactly a strong actress, and now that the amazing rack is completely non-existent, what does she have to offer the silver screen? Just sayin' ...
