Alba News

A sequel to this year's "Fantastic Four" is in the works, and the original stars are set to reprise their superhero roles — except for Jessica Alba.

After starring in the first flick with Michael Chiklis and the lesser-known likes of Ioane Gruffud, Chris Evans, and Julian McMahon, the actress is uncertain the follow-up would be a judicious career move.

Instead, rumor has it that Alba has agreed to star alongside Jimmy Fallon in the movie remake of the classic sitcom, "I Dream of Jeannie." She'll get to show a lot more skin than Barbara Eden, who was forced by censors to cover her navel.

You Said

I think she'd be better off starring in the Four sequel. Jimmy Fallon movies aren't exactly winners.

And I agree, enough remakes.

At least those no-names of Michael Chiklis and Ioane Gruffud can act. Having said that F4 wasn't that good a movie in the first place.

Here's hoping this will be a rare case of the sequel being better than the original.

after this summer, you would think hollywood would realize people want creativity, not remakes.

but, i guess hollywood execs want to complain next summer that people aren't going to the movies...

Huh. Nobody told me Ioan was a no-name.

Yet another classic case of someone getting a big ego and thinking they're all of the sudden a much better actor/actress due to sudden Hollywood hotness (see: Eva Longoria).
