CK Goes Chick Rock

Choice Calvin Klein—the jeanswear, underwear, and swimwear line targeted at a demographic of 18-26 year-old women—has announced that they have partnered with The Veronicas, a new band from Australia, for a multifaceted Fall 2005 promotional campaign.

To kick off the promotion, a four page advertising insert will run in the October 2005 issues of Jane and Teen Vogue. It will feature a removable branded card with details on how readers can download The Veronicas’ new single, “4-Ever,” from their debut CD, “The Secret Life of…The Veronicas,” via a microsite at www.choicecalvinklein.com.

The online promotion will also be supported by custom e-mail blasts sent by both magazines to target select readers, promoting the upcoming performances and tagging the website. Supplemental e-mails will be sent to targeted readers of Allure, Nylon, Lucky, and Marie Claire.

--I wonder if they'll be like the Fantas.
