Babs Is Back

Barbara Streisand fans must be in heaven. Not only is she re-teaming with Barry Gibb to release "Guilty Pleasures" this fall, but now comes word that Rhino is releasing on DVD all of Streisand's classic TV specials: "My Name Is Barbra" (1965), "Color Me Barbra" (1966), "The Belle of 14th Street" (1967), "Barbra Streisand: A Happening in Central Park" (1968) and "Barbra Streisand . . . and Other Musical Instruments."

Said one fan who sings along to "Funny Girl," "The Barbra fanatics will go insane." Highlights include a duet with Ray Charles and a scene she acted with Jason Robards.

You Said

While reading this post, I thought for just a minute that "Rhino" was a nickname for Babs.

I thought I detected the estrogen level increasing here in San Francisco yesterday.

I still don't get the name "Color me Barbra". What the hell is that crap?
