NYC Skyline Goes Pink

This would have been really cool to see:

The New York City skyline was pretty in pink 2 nights ago thanks to City in Pink, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation's tribute to breast cancer survivors and those who died of the disease.

Nearly 20 buildings across the city — including the Empire State Building, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, The Shops at Columbus Circle/Time Warner Center and the Woolworth Building — will be ablaze with pink lights every night until Sunday, making this the biggest lighting campaign in the group's history.

"The idea was to serve as reminder of breast cancer," says Nicole Rubin, executive director of the Greater New York City Affiliate of the foundation. "It's a way of showing support."
