Romantic Roles No More

George Clooney says he will not appear in any more romantic films.

The former ER actor says at the age of 44 he wants to move always from playing the romantic hero. He said: "I don't want to be 60 and doing love scenes with 35-year-old actresses."

George has two new films due out early next year and is keen not to get typecast reports ITV.com. In Good Night and Good Luck he plays a chubby, bespectacled newsreader and he plays a CIA man in Syriana.

You Said

Good for him! I agree that he should not be doing love scenes at 60 with 35 year old women. However, he cjould do scenes with a smoking hot older woman.

Yep - but he knows the reality is movie makers would rather cast 35 year old women.

And I'll bet we see him with much younger leading ladies in the future.
