Brosnan's Rant

Pierce Brosnan is not handing over James Bond's tux without a few choice words. The actor launched a four-letter tirade against the bosses who dropped him in favor of Layer Cake star Daniel Craig.

In a Playboy magazine interview Pierce told producers "f*** you", and added: "It's bloody frustrating that the f*****s pulled the rug when they did."

The 52-year-old also claimed that his new film Matador proved them wrong, saying: "It's great to say f*** you a**holes. F*** you who thought I was some wuss. F*** you."

You Said

Me thinks he is a wee bit bitter? He was a little too old to draw a young american demographic. I was kinda grossed out by him and Halle in the last Bond saga.

Bond, schmond. I would have given anything to be Rene Russo in The Thomas Crown Affair opposite Pierce. Hubba Hubba. He never did anything for me until I saw him in that film.

Bond isn't supposed to be some 20-something hot studly body action star. Bond is an attitude, brain, charm, and gravitas. Brosnan could have done another movie or two easily and is the best Bond since Coonery! At age 52 I hope I look half as good in a tux with a martini.

He should have been Bond after Remington Steele, but oh well.
