Someone Was Really That Bored?

Someone was actually bored enough to compile a webpage about the history of the heavy metal umlaut.

And, as it appears, I was sick of studying tax enough to read it.

You Said

i was going to leave a pithy comment here, putting an umlaut over every vowel. but i can't for the life of me figure out how to do it! so just imagine this comment has them all over the place. nice, no! :)

Motley Crue, saw them 2x. First time was my 16th birthday. It was 1985, the Theater of Pain tour. Venue was the Providence Civic Center. My friend was making out and getting it on with some stranger. My older sister was mortified at my friend. I was uninterested in the drama, decided to try for the front. Dumb thing to do I thought because security was tight and no one was going to penetrate the front. About to give up when noticed numerous security moving toward sound men. I rushed to the front, others followed. Security stopped further mayhem but let us stay where we were. I was directly below Nikki Sixx & Mick Mars. I had huge crush on Nikki. He handed his plastic cup of JD down toward me, everyone grabbed for it, cup broke I had booze all over me -- very thrilling. Still have the cup pieces in my scrapbook.
