Word Game Fun

Here's a game for you: Just fill in the blank with the most appropriate or creative word.

Income tax law sucks a _________________________.

The possibilities are endless.

You Said

I feel your pain! I took an entire year of tax back in the day. The only thing I ever learned (or remembered) was this from the late, great Timothy "Timmy Tax" Phillips:

"Tarzan say: High basis good. Low basis bad."

Good luck and yip yip!

Says: Robert the Llama Butcher at April 30, 2004 02:34 PM

You're right, the possibilities are endless! Are you looking for a "sentence enhancer"? How about:

Income tax law sucks an accountant's dick!

Says: Brad at April 30, 2004 03:20 PM

A word of warning for anyone (like me) who doesn't think ahead: *don't* type that phrase into Google at work!...

Says: Ferro Lad at April 30, 2004 05:21 PM

Is Tax on your Bar in In? That is the ONE good thing about the NY bar exam, the only good thing I am afraid...good luck!

Says: Jen at April 30, 2004 09:41 PM

Income tax law sucks a table sold by Jolly Corporation.

Says: Kelly at April 30, 2004 10:10 PM

Yep, Jen. It's on our bar exam.

It sure does Kel. It also sucks Beverly's passive pumpkins.

Says: Lawren at April 30, 2004 10:25 PM

There may be one bit of luck. Though TAX is on the IN bar exam it is usually only one question. Based on what you, Kelly, and Amanda have been complaining about for the past week I may just pick up TAX in the Barbri review courses!

Says: Brian D. at April 30, 2004 11:20 PM

From what I understand, the only reason that tax is even on the bar in this state is due to your lovely professor.

I still can't beleive Amanda almost talked me into that class.

July 03 had an income tax question, but it was pimp-smackable. For instance, it was 5 different short scenarios, all along the lines of "Ted won $5,000 in the Lottery, did he have gross income?" Took me all of 20 minutes.

Says: Jeff B at May 1, 2004 01:20 PM

I'll add "monkey nuts" as the choice sentence enhancer of the day.

Says: Rick at May 3, 2004 02:01 AM

I am not sure what I think about that. Usually, if tax law is not making you fall asleep, it is because of something that you have no idea what to think of. I am in California, and I know that california tax lawyers usually only feel that way about changes in tax law. If you wanted any opinions from other california tax lawyers, you are welcome to view my site. I also have plenty of tax forms and documents if you need any. California tax laywers are not all bad, just trying to help.
