Big Mistake

This story doesn't top the pain level of the one a few posts down, but it's close:

A grandmother ended up in hospital when she confused her eye drops with superglue. Terry Horder, 78, reached for the medicated drops in her fridge but got the glue instead.

Nurses used vegetable oil to try to remove the glue which fused Mrs Horder's eyelashes together and seeped under the lids.

Is there a reason the glue was in the fridge?

Oh.My.GAWD!
can you say, "Ouch!!!"
Damn, that hurt 'me' by just reading about it!
I could feel her pain! LOL
mental note: forget about using super glue to attatch fake eyelashes.

La Bella's comments remind me of the time my sister superglued press on nails on once before a high school dance. This was when the nails first came on the market, so they were not the most durable. My sister proceeds to wash dishes, and the hot water warps the nails, making them look your fingers do when they are waterlogged. However, since my sister had superglued the nails on, she could not get them off. She went to the dance anyway, but had to file them down the next day, and it took months for them to recover.
