Former U.S. chat show queen Rosie O'Donnell is waging a fat war on Kirstie Alley after claiming the former Cheers beauty is much heavier than the 210 pounds she claims to weigh.
O'Donnell admires Alley for poking fun at her inflated size in new TV comedy Fat Actress, but O'Donnell wants the star to be more honest. O'Donnell says, "I am telling you right now, I'm 218 pounds - Kirstie Alley is not 210. She's a lying sack of s**t. At least tell the truth. She's gotta be like 248 (pounds)."

That's like the citibank commercial where the guy steps on the scales and it says 249. His leg would have to be hollow for him to weigh that.

Good point and why would Kirstie lie? Good grief, she's been straight-up about absolutely everything else in her life. I think Rosie is just jealous 'cause Kirstie at least looks FIRM while Rosie looks sloppy.

I gotta agree with Nanc'. There are different kinds of builds and that can affect how you look. I had a female coworker who was 6'0" tall, stocky, weighed 300lbs, and played very good games of basketball and volleyball. Believe me she didn't look 300lbs. And she looked a lot better than Rosie.
Many tabloid photos of Kirstie are taken from a low angle and that makes you look bigger.

Isn't Kirstie about six feet tall? I would imagine a 140 lb. woman who was seven inches taller than me would also look thinner than me.

There is no way she is pushing 250. I have many family members around that weight, and you can be sure Alley is in better shape. I think her claim is just about right.
And for the record, I really don't think she is that fat. Maybe that is just because she is still amazingly beautiful and Rosie is, well...not. But it just doesn't jump out at me.
