Target Trunk Show

Saks hosted John Galliano’s trunk show; now Target has its own boldface name to headline its own big sale: Isaac Mizrahi. The curly-haired designer will host what’s billed by the company as “the first-ever online trunk show” starting August 7 on the Target website.

Target shoppers can log onto the company’s main website, then browse Isaac’s fall pieces, which are only available online until September. Besides the virtual trunk show, Isaac fans can purchase his latest mass-tige designs at Target’s Red Hot Shop from August 7th through August 14th.

For those into window shopping, a free video of Isaac chatting with various New York hauterflies is available on the site, plus a section where the zany designer shows shoppers his favorite looks from the new fall collection.

You Said

I've been really disappointed in Isaac's Target line. I guess he thinks folks who shop there don't care about poor workmanship and cheap fabrics.

I have been pretty impressed, actually. Although I am wearing the Liz Lange maternity right now, I have some of the Isaac pieces and thought they were great bargains and good style.
