Life After Boy Bands?
There may be life after 'N Sync for Lance Bass and Joey Fatone - as television stars.
The former boy band members are developing a new series about their lives for UPN described as a modern-day "Odd Couple," said Dawn Ostroff, the network president, Thursday. Fatone is Oscar, the slob. Bass is Felix.
Tentatively dubbed, "Out of Sync," and planned for this fall, it's a hybrid of reality and comedy, she said. "They came to us," she said. "Joey and Lance are such fun, interesting people and they truly are an odd couple - even if you sit in a room with them, it's Felix and Oscar in many ways." It's a classic kind of story that could resonate with a new generation, Ostroff said.

I think the show will be a fun light hearted series.Since Lance and Joey have a long standing freindship and KNOW each others work ethics and how hard you have to work to have success. I have faith they can do this.I didn't like the lack of faith of the critic by using puke as the last word for the article.
Says: Chris Murphy at January 21, 2006 01:56 AMI think is a good idea for a show. I dont like the way the reporter said puke in the end that is very rude! I think its good that they have passed through their Nsync days.
Says: yaya at January 21, 2006 05:10 PMit wont last
Says: jessica at January 21, 2006 11:10 PMI think that this is a good idea. I can just imagine the first episode, where we see Joey Fatone in his messy room and Lance Bass the clean one in that apartment. And just laughing at every episode. Joey just has that funny side that will make the show click with Lance. We didn't see them sing lead in NSYNC as much, so this show helps bring them up front as much as Justin and JC and Chris have.
Says: Preston at January 21, 2006 11:45 PMI think that this show will be very good since they have passed through there NSYNC days and it will last
Says: Janelle at January 22, 2006 09:41 AMUnlike other people, I actually have faith in these two guys and their new show. Lance and Joey are two of the most talented guys I have ever met, not to mention very good business men. If their show doesn't work out, fine, it won't be the end of the world. At least these two guys are out there doing something with their lives instead of staying at home waisting their time hating on people. For those of you who do support them, thank you, I know that they appreciate it alot.
