I Hope It's True

Madonna says her acting career is over.

She has appeared in flop films Shanghai Durprise, Swept Sway and Body of Evidence.

She fears her terrible acting reputation will condemn any film. According to IOL.com she said: "What film can survive people saying it's going to be a bomb from the second it's announced?

"Making movies is such an effort, and to do that over and over again, with the possibility that I am going to get the sh** kicked out of me - and they really enjoy doing it - I mean, it doesn't make sense. "I have sort of let it go."

--And, even though she got some praise for Evita, I frankly thought she was terrible in that, too.

You Said

Looks at those arms ... so skinny and toned compared to her days of "Body of Evidence." HOW does she keep her cans looking like that?

Sad how she was the last to know...

I have to disagree with you on Evita. I rather liked Who's That Girl too. That was cheesy and cute. But you don't get great actresses in fluff pictures.

I think she was great in Evita. And Desparately Seeking Susan?? I think we watched that at every slumber party growing up. She pretty much played herself in both so maybe she's not amazing but I still think she's cool.
