Sculpture of Kate Moss

As if the Britney sculpture wasn't enough, another artist has created a piece to resemble a famous person.

The artist who created the Trafalgar Square sculpture of Alison Lapper, an armless woman depicted naked and pregnant, has unveiled a new work influenced by the multi-limbed goddess Shiva but with the features of Kate Moss.

Marc Quinn, who has called his oeuvre The Sphinx, says he was inspired by the 32-year-old model because, "She is a contemporary version of the Sphinx. A mystery. There must be something about her that has clicked with the collective unconscious to make her so ubiquitous, so spirit of the age."

Although the advanced yoga pose involved was performed by somebody else, the features are Kate's. "I'd done some life casts of her in the past," explains Marc, "and we made more measurements and photos. From all that we sculpted Kate's body in the pose; this is her body and her proportions."

You Said

Allegedly yoga is good for the body but based on this position, I'm convinced that yoga is women's only activity.

Fortunatlely this particular sculpture isn't as "laborious" as Britneys.
