Sean Patrick Thomas married actress Aonika Laurent in New Orleans on Saturday.

The couple, who are both 35, had originally planned their nuptials for the fall of 2005 in the Big Easy – Laurent's hometown – but postponed the wedding due to Hurricane Katrina.

Thomas, who has starred in Barbershop and on CBS's The District, and Laurent (Fantastic Four) decided to wait to get married until they could have their dream wedding in their favorite city. The couple originally met at a party thrown by Barbershop director Tim Story.
