Pink Says

Pink has hailed stars Angelina Jolie, Oprah Winfrey and Reese Witherspoon as true role models, insisting their intelligence and caring natures set them apart from their superficial Hollywood counterparts.

The Stupid Girls singer is horrified by the current wave of stars obsessed with fashion, makeup and partying and is urging women to be more selfless and take notice of the world around them.

She says, "Women had to fight to get where we are now, but if you look at popular culture you'd think we're completely happy in thongs with a stripper's pole between our thighs, and all we care about is the latest pair of shoes." "I think Oprah is absolutely amazing, she runs the world as she should. I admire Angelina Jolie for the work she's doing for the UN. She's sexy smart, caring, conscious, aware - as is Reese Witherspoon."

"And I know a lot of extra single moms who are volunteering with their only extra hour in the day. They're working with sick kids, or reading to people who can't read." "I'm sick of reading about people shopping and fake tits."

Wow Pink, you sound like a voice the children need to hear... but the impression your personal image makes (not to mention -rumored- BAM's girlfriend) seems to contradict your verbal views.... Which is the 'real' you?...

I totally agree with Pink, i get sick of fake women who make us real ones stereotyped. I really admire and look up to the ones who knows how to take control and push it in the right direction.
