Mirror, Mirror...On The Wall

Eva Mendes has been named the "Most Desirable Woman of 2009" by AskMen.com, which released its annual list of 99 babes -- voted on by 10 million people -- Wednesday. Transformers star Megan Fox came in at No. 2.

Marisa Miller, who graced the cover of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit edition, was named No. 3, followed by sexy philanthropist Keeley Hazell. Anne Hathaway rounded out the top 5.

Isla Fisher, Christina Aguilera and Katy Perry also rank -- above Angelina Jolie, who comes in all the way at No. 42. (Better than Jennifer Aniston, who, it appears, didn't even make the list.)

Kim Kardashian -- lauded for her famous booty -- tops a spillover list called "Top 99 Rejects" because there were too many "hotties" to fit on the "Most Desirable Women" roundup.

I'm Sure They Get Along...Not

Hard to believe she's Ashley Judd's sister, isn't it?

Inaugural Fashion

--Michelle Obama became the first lady in a custom Isabel Toledo yellow sheath and matching coat, Jimmy Choo teal heels and olive green J. Crew leather gloves. I really liked this one. Some gals in the office didn't like the jeweled neckline, but I sure did. Thought it really pulled it together nicely and added a little something.

--The Obama girls wore J.Crew. And, no you can't get their outfits on the website--they were custom-made. They looked adorable.

--In the evening, Michelle wore a one-shouldered, ivory gown by 26-year old Jason Wu. Very classy, very chic, and very wearable. Very cool that the relatively unknown designer's dress will now be in the Smithsonian.

Critique: Overall, I think she did a great job. She has her own style, and I like that about her. She doesn't try to be Jackie O., but she does show a little flair. She needs a lesson in accessorizing, however. Olive green gloves and teal heels? Um, no.

Arrested!

Kelly Osbourne has been arrested for allegedly slapping a gossip columnist who called her fiance, Luke Worrall, stupid. The incident occurred in August 2008, reports The Daily Mail.

Witnesses claim Osbourne threw a fit at London club Punk after gossip writer Zoe Griffin taunted her and continued to insult her and Worrall. Osbourne went with her lawyers to a central London police station voluntarily earlier this month. Zoe Griffin claims she was slapped by Kelly at a London club

"We can confirm a 24-year-old woman attended a central London police by appointment on Jan. 2," a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said in a statement. "She was arrested for common assault relating to an alleged incident in Soho in the early hours of Aug. 29."

Osbourne was released on bail until March.

Hi, Readers!

Sorry, gang. Meetingpalooza today for me, so no time to post anything of substance. I took a quick gander at my usual web spots last night, and nothing of significance stood out to report anyway. Other than, of course, the death of Ricardo Montalban. While I can't say I was a big fan of his show, Fantasy Island, you have to respect a guy who was married to his wife for 63 years.

To keep you busy today (since I know you all need work distractions), check out some of my fave sites:

Unicorns? Really?

How top secret was Fergie and Josh Duhamel's wedding last weekend? The invites weren't given out until after the ceremony.

Created by invitationers Lehr & Black, Fergie and Duhamel's invitations were "a reflection of both of their personalities," says the Los Angeles business's Ellen Black.

"Fergie loves bling and has a love for unicorns and Josh loves nature," she says. "The artwork had leaves and hidden details like a unicorn and the invites were decorated with crystals." "There's a current trend for celebrities to give out the invitation as a gift at the end of the wedding," says Black, who has also created invites for Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria Parker, Gwen Stefani and Adam Sandler. "That way, they can avoid the invitation being revealed before the wedding and can keep all the details a secret."

Accompanying the wedding invitation was a caricature of Fergie and Duhamel fishing. "Josh has a love for art," says Black, "and viewed it as giving a way of piece of art."

Bummer

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I'm so bummed that one of my favorite shows, Prison Break, got cancelled.

This will be the fourth and final season for the FOX show. The final episodes of the series will start airing April 17, but no word on how many episodes there will be.

Golden Globes

Hi readers! Early morning meetings are preventing me from doing my usual Golden Globes recap, but here's an abbreviated version:

--Holla, Slumdog!!!

--Ok, so I'll admit it--I've NEVER watched a single episode of 30 Rock. Guess I'm clearly missing something.

--When they announced Sally Hawkins' name, I think everyone in the room and watching (including myself) went "WHO????"

--Welcome back to the living, Mickey Rourke!

--And, as for the fashions...my choices are:

Apparently, Hef has three girlfriends again.

22-year-old Crystal Harris -- who has been photographed with the 82-year-old Playboy honcho -- claims that he has been dating her, along with 19-year-old twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon.

Harris, a San Diego State University psychology student, insists she never got a proper public introduction after Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson left the Playboy Mansion last year. (The Shannon sibs instead made all the headlines.)

But on an E! online message board over the holidays, Harris told fans that "Hef gave me permission to fill people in on the new updates as a voice from the mansion," according to New York's Daily News. She insisted he isn't seeing anyone else, but added: "There are a couple that we have interest in ... As for now, it is just us three."

On her MySpace page, Harris describes herself as "a good girl, for the most part." "I believe in opening your heart and letting your walls down, it is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all," she says on her site, which features Disney characters, cute animals, inspirational quotes and plenty of pink.

Breaking News

Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of actor John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston, died Friday while on vacation with his family in the Bahamas.

Michael Ossi, a lawyer for the family, told Reuters that Jett suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island. The death was first reported by TMZ.

Attempts were made to revive him, but he died at the scene, Ossi said.

Jett, who had a history of seizures, is the only son of Travolta and Preston. They also have a daughter, Ella Bleu, 8.
